The excitement is building at Auburn Dance Academy as we prepare for the grand finale of our Musical Theatre Camp. Tomorrow, August 16th, from 2–3 PM at Carco Theatre, our talented students will showcase the results of three incredible weeks of dedication, creativity, and teamwork.
First, Week 1 focused on vocals. Students learned the ins and outs of every song, paying close attention to annunciation, diction, and pitch. Under the guidance of our fabulous directors, they quickly transformed into a well-polished vocal team. As a result, their harmonies are tighter, and their confidence has soared.
Next, Week 2 brought the choreography to life. This stage was all about movement—formations, ripples, partner work, and staging. In addition, the kids learned how to connect their expressions and body language to the story, making the dances even more impactful.
Finally, Week 3 became production week. This is when everything came together—props, costumes, and all the fine details. Moreover, it’s the time when small adjustments make a big difference, ensuring the show flows smoothly from start to finish.Above all, this camp has been about more than just learning a show—it’s about building friendships, learning discipline, and experiencing the joy of performing. The dedication of these young artists is truly inspiring, and we know the audience will feel that energy.🎭
