Hey friends, our Competition Team just had an incredible first Thursday meet-up of the season! The energy was high as all the kids came together to kick off what’s sure to be an amazing year. It was fantastic to see our dancers meeting their new teammates, catching up with old friends, and getting excited about the journey ahead.
Expectations for the Competition Team
During this first meet-up, we introduced our dancers to how Thursdays will run throughout the competition season. One of our focuses was goal setting and rules. Auburn Dance Academy is committed to providing the best training possible for our Competition Team while making sure the experience is fun and rewarding.
Team Chants and Fun Games
One of the highlights of our first meet-up was the fun activities we did to bring the team closer together. We split the kids into groups based on their levels and gave them 15 minutes to create a team chant. It was incredible to see the creativity and enthusiasm as each group performed their chant in front of the rest of the team. This not only helped to build team spirit but also set a positive and supportive tone for the season. Click Here to see a recap video!
Looking Ahead
We couldn’t be more excited for what this season holds for our Competition Team. With the dedication and passion these kids bring to every practice, we know they’re going to do amazing things. We’re looking forward to all the fun, hard work, and accomplishments that lie ahead!
