Musical Theatre camp is officially in full swing here at Auburn Dance Academy, and we’re already heading into Week 2. Last week, our studio was buzzing with excitement as students jumped into their roles with heart and focus. From learning songs and memorizing lines to understanding their characters, it was a powerful start to this summer’s musical journey.
Now that Week 2 has arrived, we’re shifting gears and bringing choreography into the spotlight. This part of the process is all about stage formations, ripple effects, and visual storytelling. Every move matters, and our dancers are giving it everything they’ve got.
Throughout these long days, one thing continues to stand out—the incredible work ethic and determination of our campers. They show up eager, they support one another, and they’re building real connections. It’s inspiring to watch them grow not just as performers, but as people.
Camp is more than just rehearsals. It’s laughter, teamwork, and friendships that will stick around far beyond the final curtain call. For many of these students, Musical Theatre camp is a place where they feel seen, challenged, and proud of what they’re creating together.
